Hobbyist chime of bent squarehead nails strongly reminiscent of Harry Bertoia’s Sonambient sculptures from the same period. This example signed to verso with an impressed metal plaque KENNETH D LEIK. According to records, Leik was a Michigan carpenter and welder who was known for traveling the United States on his Harley Davidson.
